Global Commons is a new age political community.
Our characteristics
We are a community of atheists united by our shared logical reasoning: We don't believe in gods.
We are a community that embraces equality: no allegiance in leadership.
We are non-secular, akin to how religions nullify other religious beliefs and political parties reject alternatives.
Rejecting the notion that a few individuals and bodies of institutions are immune.
We are a community united by our commitment to non-violence: We reject aggression in all its forms.
We stand united in our belief that life is precious. While we may face challenging situations, sacrificing life is never a game for us.
Embark on your journey with a Global Commons membership—no commitments, no social work, no fees, no fighting, no protest, no donations required. A mindset placing yourself above all is essential, coupled with a clean criminal record. If you align yourself with a particular star, politician, or deity, we regret to inform you that you are not welcome!
Have some time to spare? Invest a few hours each month reviewing our defined projects to see if you can contribute. If a particular project sparks excitement, become an active contributor and make a meaningful impact.
Allocate an hour each month for your pod online meeting, scheduled for the last Saturday of the month. Engage in discussions about governance-related issues you've observed throughout the month. If you identify a problem along with a fail-proof solution, don't hesitate to raise a call. Share your ideas independently or through Global Commons platform for collective consideration.
Step up to represent your pod, group, cluster, district, state, and the world. Each representation term lasts for one year, and upon successful completion, you'll be honored with a badge of distinction. You have a single opportunity to represent at each level. After successfully representing all levels, you will join the esteemed group of those who have served.
No individual holds exclusive authority to make decisions at their discretion. Pods represent the highest authority, and every member has equal rights in decision-making. How are decisions made? The answer is simple: voting. Every decision undergoes a voting process, requiring a passing score of 75%. If the threshold isn't met, the decision is nullified. You can find a detailed process in the by-laws.
Every cluster within the existing democratic delimitation area collectively selects a candidate to participate in the democratic process. The method is straightforward and detailed in the by-laws. Essentially, everyone is automatically nominated for candidacy unless they explicitly express a lack of interest.
Pod is the smallest unit and people in pod reserve the right to elect and callback representatives of the entire levels. Each pod will have three representative from each gender.
The group is the next level in the hierarchy, consisting of 10 pods. The group will be comprised of all representatives from the pods, with three of them representing the group to the next level down in the hierarchy.
Three groups form a cluster, and all the group representatives will be members in the cluster, with three representatives from each gender serving as cluster representatives."
Fifty clusters constitute a district. All cluster representatives are members of the district, with three representatives from each gender serving as district representatives.
All districts constitute the state, and all members of the districts become members of the state, with three representatives from each gender representing the state.
All members from the state become members of the world, with three representatives from each gender serving as world representatives.
Yes. Even though our envisioned representation isn't precisely aligned with the existing system, we strive to bring about change through it.
Since there is no provision for all-gender representation in the existing system, our participation method operates in rotation. This means that in each election cycle, the representation will alternate—first, all ladies; then, all men and trans individuals in the next election. This approach applies to all elections, whether for the upper or lower house.
In the event of a successful election, should Global Commons achieve a governing position in the near future, our aim is to implement our envisioned system of representation. Following this, the existing government would be dissolved, and elections for a new government, aligned with Global Commons representation system, would be conducted within 90 days.
Let's join hands and work together to create a better world, one that embraces the essence of true humanity for those who embody the spirit of being human.
